SOLOMON SAANU BONU Mr. — Special Adviser Tourism, Arts and Culture

Mr. Solomon Saanu Bonu, Member, Nigeria Political Science Association; member, International Peace and Conflict Association and member, Midwest Political Association, Chicago, USA, was born on June 16, 1972.  He attended Methodist Primary School, Badagry after which he attended Badagry Grammar School, Badagry where he obtained the West African School Certificate in 1995.


Thereafter, he attended the Lagos State University (LASU) and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree [B.Sc] in Political Science in 2000. He earned a Master of Science in Political Science from the University of Lagos, Akoka in 2004. He is currently pursuing his Ph.d programme at the LASU, Ojo.


Mr. Bonu started his working career as Assistant Lecturer, Lagos State University, Nigeria; and also served as Assistant Lecturer, Political Science & Public Administration, University of Wenniba, Accra, Ghana from 2011 to 2014. He later worked at the Citizenship and Leadership Training Centre, Federal Ministry of Youth Development, Nigeria as Senior Instructor, 2010-2016.


He is currently a Lecturer in Political Science at LASU Foundation.
